Short description: This presentation offers a practitioner perspective and strategies for educators working with gifted transgender and gender non-conforming (TGNC) students. Educators may feel overwhelmed by terminology, school constraints, or divergent attitudes within their setting. However, by championing gifted TGNC students’ identities and creating supportive spaces, educators can act as social change agents, empowering gifted TGNC students to realize their potential.
