Misty Wilson, Ed.D., currently serves as Head of Education for Immerse, which offers language immersion in virtual reality. Before joining Immerse earlier this year, Misty used her assessment literacy and TESOL expertise to support IELTS prep test taker resource development and teacher training with IELTS USA. With over 15 years of experience teaching English language learners and leading academic departments, Misty is an active member of several professional organizations, including EnglishUSA, TESOL International Association, and NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Misty currently serves as a Poster Fair Organizer for NAFSA 2022 and is an appointed member of NAFSA's Annual Conference Committee (2023, 2024).
