Jennifer Creamer, PhD, is the Director of Global Engagement at Robert Morris University where she oversees education abroad, international student services, and campus internationalization. A cultural anthropologist, Creamer has conducted qualitative research on the impact of study abroad and the international student experience. A member of the NAFSA Trainer Corps since 2010, she is an active trainer and presenter at national international education and anthropology conferences. In addition, she serves as the TLS content chair for the NAFSA 2018 National Conference. Creamer has experience studying abroad in Mexico and Japan in high school and college, teaching ESL in Japan, and leading Japanese students on short-term programs to the United States. She received her BA in anthropology and East Asian studies from Colby College and her PhD in cultural anthropology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
