Assistant to the President for Global Engagement

Voraprapa is currently an Assistant to the President for Global Engagement at Chulalongkorn University. She oversees the Office of the International Affairs and Global Network. Her responsibility is to support Chulalongkorn University’s mission to create “innovations for society” at the international level under three areas, namely, (i) Future Leaders, (ii) Impactful Research and Innovation, and (iii) Sustainability.
Voraprapa also teaches "Digital and Innovative Economy" at the Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University. Her academic work focuses on how technology changes our economy and the way we think in economics. Besides academic research, she also regularly writes op-ed articles in local newspapers.
Voraprapa received a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Southern California. She also holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (Honors) from Chulalongkorn University. Voraprapa has worked several years in private sector in both the United States and Thailand prior to joining Chulalongkorn University.
