With over 20 years in the field, Jessica is draws inspiration from the transformative power of global student mobility. In 2018, she joined Duke Kunshan University (a joint venture between Duke University and Wuhan University) where she now serves as dean of international enrollment management. Prior to that, she served as director of international admissions for Temple University from 2012-2018. She is probably best known for developing the #YouAreWelcomeHere campaign and scholarship program and in 2017, she was named to Chronicle of Higher Education's "Influence List" for this effort. Jessica is a frequent writer and presenter for NAFSA, NACAC, AIRC and AIEA and served as editor for NAFSA’s popular reference book, Guide to International Recruitment, in 2017. From 2014 to 2016, she edited NAFSA’s IEM Spotlight newsletter. She holds a seat on advisory boards of Intead and Times Higher Education. In 2021, Jessica was elected chair-elect for NAFSA's IEM Knowledge Community. Jessica holds a B.A. in Political Science from Moravian College and an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Kent at Brussels.
