Assistant Director of Admissions

Ben is an Assistant Director of Admissions at Johns Hopkins University where he oversees the international recruitment and selection process, as well as building and fostering relationships with educational access organizations around the world. He has 8+ years of experience working in international affairs within higher education at both Johns Hopkins and his alma mater, Vanderbilt University. Ben has remained active in college access organizations such as the Council of International Schools (CIS) and International Association of College Admissions Counseling (International ACAC). He also leads workshops for international advisers through Education USA and the Institute of International Education (IIE) both in Washington D.C. and across Latin America. Ben holds a B.A. in Psychology at Vanderbilt University and master’s degree in History at Johns Hopkins. In addition to his studies, he has a passion education and global studies, and I am excited about finding new and innovative ways to increase access to educational opportunities for students around the world.
