Dr. Mary Machira is the Director of International Student and Scholar Center at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. She has over 20 years of higher education experience in various roles including 13 years as director of international student services at both community college and university settings. She is a past participant of the NAFSA Academy and a past co-chair of NAFSA's Women & Leadership in International Education MIG where she co-presented and facilitated several webinars on women's career development and leadership in international education. She has previously presented at NAFSA regional and co-presented at the AIEA conferences. Dr. Machira is also the current chair of Study Utah Board.
