Executive Director, Office of Global Engagement

Jennifer Evanuik is the Executive Director of the Office of Global Engagement at Central Michigan University. In this role, she advocates for campus internationalization and oversees study abroad, international student and scholar services, and international agreements/partnerships. Previously, Jennifer held multiple roles at the Georgia Institute of Technology, including Director of the Global Internship Program and the International Plan, interim manager of International Student and Scholars Services, and study abroad advisor. Other professional experience includes global education in K-12, global learning, risk management, industry collaboration, and global STEM education. She is an active member of NAFSA, including positions with the International Education Leadership KC, the Internships, Service Learning, and Research Abroad MIG, and TrainerCorps. She is an experienced facilitator of intercultural communication training workshops and has taught courses on intercultural communication and doing business in other cultures. In 2014, Jennifer participated in the Fulbright International Educator Administrator Seminar in Korea. Jennifer holds a B.S. in French and International Business from the Pennsylvania State University and an M.Ed. in Social and Comparative Analysis in Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
