Professor Rossana holds a Doctorate in Education from the University of Campinas - UNICAMP (1997). She has completed her Postdoctoral studies in Education Sciences at the Université Paris 8, France. She is a former Professor at the University of Brasilia-UnB. Since 2008 she is Director of the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities - GCUB. She is an associate researcher at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Geneva-Switzerland. She is a former President of the Governing Council of the UNESCO/IESALC. She is Visiting Professor in the Ethics Program at the Universidad del Azuay-Ecuador. She is also a member of the Board of the Union of Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean – UDUAL. Professor Rossana has been working in the area of International University Cooperation for more than 20 years. She was a consultant for the Organization of American States (OAS-DHDEE). She received from the French government the decoration of l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques. She was a member of the Brazilian National Commission for the Evaluation of Higher Education – CONAES. She was also a member of the Committee of Experts of L'Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie. She coordinated important Brazilian Government Programs. She received in 2018 the Annual Award of the Brazil-Turkey Cultural Center and in 2019 she was declared an illustrious guest of the city of Ambato-Ecuador. She published in different countries, numerous articles and book chapters on higher education. She is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Scientific Journal Kaznu, from Kazakhstan, and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the UNESCO IESALC’s Journal Educación Superior y Sociedad (ESS). She designed and coordinated several international programs; teaches courses on Higher Education and was a speaker at international events in more than 20 countries.
