Heather Ward is associate provost for global affairs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ward previously led UNC-Chapel Hill’s Study Abroad Office and has held positions in international higher education since 2007 with the American Council on Education, George Mason University, and Mary Baldwin University. She holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies and Spanish from Vanderbilt University and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. In 2012, she participated in the Fulbright-Nehru International Education Administrators seminar in India, and she joined the DAAD Germany Today study tour in 2015. Heather holds a BA in Latin American Studies and Spanish from Vanderbilt University and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. She has lived in Ecuador and participated in education abroad programs in Guatemala and Spain.
