Beth Laux is the Dean of International Programs at Pepperdine University. She is responsible for the academic, intercultural, financial, and administrative operations at 6 international studies centers. Throughout her career, Beth has served as a volunteer both regionally and nationally to advance education abroad initiatives. She has taught political science and Spanish, and has directed education abroad programs throughout Latin America and Europe. Beth frequently publishes on high impact practices and intercultural learning in a global context. Beth has a doctorate in education from Northeastern University. Her research explores the impact of curriculum design and methodology on the development of intercultural competence. Beth is the founder of Quest Cultural Education, a consulting firm specializing in workforce solutions and curriculum development for international education offices.
