Dr. Terrence F. Graham promotes sustainable partnerships in global healthcare education in his role as Chief International Officer at the University of Southern California’s School of Pharmacy. In January 2022, he took on the additional role promoting student success as the Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Studies. Prior to USC, he served for more than six years as Associate Dean/Executive Director for International Programs at California State University, Long Beach where he was responsible for an international student population of 2700 from 100 countries and more than 1100 study abroad participants each year. Dr. Graham spent thirteen years with American Councils for International Education, a Washington, DC-based not-for-profit organization, where he directed the Higher Education division from 2006-2013 and led the St. Petersburg, Russia, field office from 2002 to 2006. He completed his doctorate in Higher Education Administration at the George Washington University, where his dissertation explored the transferability of global higher education models. He holds a Master’s degree in Russian Language and Literature from the Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and English from the University of Dayton (Ohio). Dr. Graham lived and worked in the Russian Federation for nine years and has conducted field research in Bulgaria, Macedonia, and the Kyrgyz Republic.
