Dr. Celia Trejo is from Honduras and holds a Ph.D and MSc. degrees from University of Illinois. She got her undergraduate degree from Zamorano University, Honduras. Dr. Trejo has more than 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic management. Currently, she is an Associate Professor and Department Head of Agricultural Science and Production of Zamorano University. Prior to her current position she served as an Associate Dean of Academic Quality and Management. She has been responsible of managing the international affairs of the university; as well for administrating and developing international student exchange agreements along with participation in international networks and cooperation with academic partners. Additionally, Dr. Trejo coordinates the development of the internationalization strategy, facilitates institutional cooperation and study abroad programs.
