Wendy B. Berger, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia and Maryland with over 20 years of experience providing treatment, training and consultation. Topics of clinical specialization include child and adolescent assessment, trauma treatment, and overseas mental health. She was a professor and Program Chair of a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology at Argosy University, Washington DC from 2000-2008 and gained valuable international experience while living in Morocco from 2013-2017. During these years, she served as the country psychologist for the US Peace Corps and developed mental health trainings for various local and international organizations including American Councils for International Education, CIEE, Gateway Medical Alliance, Ibn Sina Hospital and the Rabat American School. Back in the Washington DC area since 2018, Dr. Berger maintains an active private therapy and consulting practice. She was a featured speaker at the U.S. Department of State’s 2019 Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) Annual Briefing and World Strides’ 2020 Global Summit and regularly leads training exercises and mental health awareness workshops.
