Senior Outreach Officer – Fulbright Specialist Program

Amirah Nelson is the Senior Outreach Officer for the Fulbright Specialist Program, connecting U.S. academics and professionals with opportunities to share expertise, gain international experience, and develop sustained collaborations with a range of institutions abroad. She has worked with World Learning since 2014 to administer a range of U.S. Government-funded exchange initiatives, including USAID-funded graduate scholarships for emerging leaders from around the world and public-private STEM education partnerships between the U.S. Department of State and U.S. technology sector partners. Prior to joining World Learning, Amirah spent several years in Indonesia where she initially served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant.
