Nitivia Jones works as an international student advisor at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Before becoming an advisor to international students, she worked as an English as a Second/Foreign Language instructor for 10 years. She taught at Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey, was an instructor at an intensive English language program in Bowling Green, Ohio, coordinated and taught in an English program at an educational non-profit for disadvantaged children in Guatemala City, and served as a TEFL volunteer with the Peace Corps in the Republic of Georgia. She has a BIS in Language Studies from Georgia State University and a MA in Cross-Cultural and International Education from Bowling Green State University.
