Dr. Alexander Lorenz is an Assistant Professor of German at the University of South Carolina Upstate. His research focuses on second language acquisition, differential psychology in language learning, and study-abroad. He teaches all levels of German, including German for Global Professions, German Translation, International German Migration, as well as Global Studies courses. Dr. Lorenz also serves as the faculty fellow for international education at USC Upstate, as well as the assessment coordinator for the Global Studies certificate at the Division of Languages, Literatures, and Composition.
