Rachel Massey is the Director of Academic Strategy and Outreach for Istituto Lorenzo de’ Medici, the Italian International Institute located in Florence, Italy. She received a B.A. in Spanish and Sociology from the University of Virginia and a M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Spain, and as part of her graduate studies, she conducted international education research in Ecuador. Ms. Massey is a co-author of two publications related to college students’ developmental readiness in an international service-learning context.
