Patricia (Pato) is the Assistant Director of Leadership and Mid-to-Senior Level Career Initiatives at NASPA- Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. She had 8+ years of experience in the International Education field before joining NASPA in March 2022. Most recently, she was the Assistant Director of the International Student and Scholar Services at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education, an M.A. in International Studies with a graduate certificate in Human Rights, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She was born in Argentina but her parents are from Taiwan and thus she speaks, English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family, craft, watch movies, and travel.
