An interdisciplinary team from multiple institutions and countries discusses findings from a global, multisite research project funded by the Stevens Initiative on inclusivity and equal access to intercultural virtual exchange initiatives. Presenters report on factors that contribute to inequity and suggest strategies to mitigate their impact.

Present the results of a global, multisite, mixed-method research study that sought to identify various obstacles preventing educators and administrators in four geopolitical regions of the world—Central and East Asia, the Middle East, South America, and sub-Saharan Africa—from considering virtual exchange as a vehicle of intercultural education.
