Race, Self-Efficacy, and the Education Abroad Decisionmaking Arc

Black or African American undergraduates remain marginalized from the benefits of studying abroad. For instance, scholars Jacqueline Murray Brux and Blake Fry offer a list of six barriers minoritized students face when considering education abroad. The presenter revisits these barriers and shares an updated list, which factors in the influence of students’ self-efficacy.
