Studying abroad is associated with improving students’ employability. But some questions remain: Is education abroad impactful on employability or do education abroad professionals just believe it is? How does one measure impact? This session looks at different initiatives from Australia, Canada, and Europe that aim to measure the employability outcomes of learning mobility programs.
Learning Objectives:
Gain insight into current international study and project results on measuring the employability impact of learning mobility programs.
Gather information about different available tools for measuring students’ employability development and mapping their intercultural learning journey.
Discuss virtual versus in-person mobility and how international educators could possibly combine the support they give their students to create a basic intercultural understanding for all students.
