Every one of us is an advocate. To make a positive change, it takes more than just one letter, meeting, phone call, or march. Presenters share their experiences advocating, and they describe strategies for developing meaningful relationships with campus administration and members of Congress year-round.
Learning Objectives:
Describe efficient and effective ways to engage with policymakers.
Demonstrate best practices for engaging with policymakers at the local and federal levels.
Develop one’s own strategies and goals for advocating year-round.
