This session introduces microdocumentary filmmaking through the lens of international education and cultural exchange, how microdocumentaries are made, what makes some go viral, and why they hold so much potential to affect change in the world.

Convey the impact of storytelling to make positive changes in the field of international education.
Use case studies such as an international student who came to the United States to study filmmaking and created a microdocumantary series on environmental issues that reached tens of millions of viewers on social media.
