European higher education is moving through year two of the 2021-2027 Erasmus+ program and laying the groundwork for the European Education Area while recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, responding to the climate challenge, and grappling with the war in Ukraine. Presenters provide updates on Europe's roadmap for internationalization through this turbulent period.

Learning Objectives:

Gain insight into how the newest Bologna Process objectives and European Education Area 2025 aspirations are encouraging innovation and evolution in international education in Europe.
Gather up-to-date information on how the European Universities initiative is evolving, ways that partnerships are factoring into some European institutions’ internationalization strategies, and the current climate for engaging with European partners.
Develop further understanding of some of the ways that matters of innovation and inclusion, climate action, and the war in Ukraine are animating current policy discussions and practice.
