Easier Said Than Done: Streamlining Departmental Applications for Exchange Visitors

Working with departments to complete applications for exchange visitors can be an arduous process. Over the past year, one office attempted to facilitate this process in Sunapsis, both to decrease confusion and frustration and to encourage more applications, but the process still is not perfect. In this session, presenters discuss what was broken, how it was fixed, and what still needs work. They provide a space for other institutions to share their processes and what works and does not work for them. This session was selected as the Region VI conference highlight from the NAFSA 2021 All-Region Summit.

Learning Objectives:

Learn about using Sunapsis and other technology to facilitate the exchange visitor application process.
Share model practices from one’s own institution.
