International alumni relations and fundraising can facilitate more than supplementary revenues. It can enhance collaboration among campus units, university partners, and other stakeholders abroad. This interactive workshop provides participants opportunities to learn from well-established methodologies and strategies to apply in their institutions.

Learning Objectives:

Explore common beliefs and assumptions on alumni engagement and philanthropy.
Identify how international alumni relations can support and advance comprehensive internationalization.
Develop strategies to engage international alumni to help meet internationalization goals and enhance transformational philanthropic efforts to secure direct or indirect funds from international constituencies and markets.
Critically identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities where alumni abroad can support internationalization goals.
