With today’s technologies, families are constantly connected to their students—even while abroad. How does this 24/7 link impact the abroad experience? This workshop presents research, identifies trends and terms, and explores strategies to leverage families’ connections while minimizing distractions that inhibit students from reaching education abroad goals.
