“JustCheckingIn”—A Student App for the Study Abroad Process

This poster explores the process of developing the prototype for an app, “JustCheckingIn,” as a support system for students, instructors, and staff during a study abroad experience. The intent is that a checklist within the app becomes a form of ritual, creating a sense of mattering for the students throughout each phase of the study abroad process.
