Nicole Alt is the Colorado Ecological Service Supervisor for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. She serves as the national lead for greater sage-grouse conservation working with federal agencies, states, and other partners to proactively conserve the species and the habitat that supports other sage-dependent species. Nicole has served in a leadership role for greater sage-grouse for almost 10 years. As Ecological Services Supervisor for Colorado, she leads two teams working collaboratively with federal agencies, State agencies, industry, and private landowners to understand perspectives and find creative solutions to complex conservation issues.
