Gray is a Founding Partner of Sandy Creek Partners (SCP) and a mitigation bank investor since 2005. Through its affiliates, Sandy Creek Partners has developed, and is developing, over two dozen mitigation banks nationwide. SCP manages private equity funds dedicated exclusively to ecosystem offset investments. Gray serves as a guest instructor at the USFWS National Conservation Training Center and speaks frequently on the business of mitigation banking and best practices in mitigation investing. Gray graduated with a BA in Philosophy from Rhodes College and received his MBA in finance from Northwestern University (Kellogg). He spent 15 years as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch in Chicago, where he led the firm's Midwest Private Equity effort. Gray is a former board member of the Florida Association of Mitigation Bankers.
