Carolyn leads Growth and Operations for Upstream Tech, focused on Lens (upstream.tech/lens) to help mitigation banks and restoration companies gain better insight into projects using remote sensing data and to reduce transaction and monitoring costs. Previously, she worked in conservation finance as a Senior Director at Quantified Ventures, where she led the firm’s work structuring investments in green infrastructure and resilience projects, and on the venture investments team at Massachusetts Clean Energy Center.
Carolyn received her MBA at MIT Sloan, her MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and her BA in Anthropological Science from Stanford. She lives in the Boston area and serves on the boards of The Trust for Public Land in Massachusetts, the Conservation Law Foundation, and the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative.
