USACE Report on Internal Audit

The House of Representatives Manager's Report for the FY 2021 Omnibus Appropriations Act included language directing USACE to provide a briefing one year after passage of that Act (Dec 2020) to report on steps taken to ensure proper and consistent application of the mitigation hierarchy and documentation of decisions regarding which compensatory mitigation mechanism is appropriate to offset impacts and under which sections of the Mitigation Rule. This session will provide the results of the USACE review of its compliance with the mitigation hierarchy and identified next steps to ensure continued compliance and improvement in identified areas.
