This presentation will discuss the process used to create the RFP, and the important aspects that need to be included in RFP submittals including land acquisition aspects, title issues, and biological benefits. Lessons learned will discussed from two rounds of RFPs including the pricing standpoint, real property due diligence, anticipated mitigation credits, and challenges in selecting RFP's . This presentation would be beneficial for both the government agencies and non-profit ILF's who may elect to use an RFP to satisfy habitat mitigation requirements and for project proponents who would like to educate themselves issues associated with government RFP's.
