An important session for federal regulators, and bankers and their attorneys. This session is designed to facilitate improved alignment of all parties needs with an emphasis on understanding conservation easement provisions required by land trusts, as well as discussion on the varying capacity levels of accredited land trusts. A panel that consists of an accredited land trust, the Land Trust Accreditation Commission, a regulator, and a banker will discuss where there are overlaps and gaps in how land trusts need to comply with Land Trust Standards and Practices and what the regulators and bankers are seeking. The discussion will provide guidance on how to get on the same page and make the process more efficient.
