Jane B. Taylor, MD, MsCR, is a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist at UPMC -Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Associate Clinical Director for the Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Taylor earned her medical degree from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill before completing her pediatric residency at the Monroe Carrol Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and a pediatric pulmonology fellowship at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine. Upon beginning her practice in pediatric pulmonology, Dr. Taylor also earned her master’s degree in clinical research from the University of Kansas and is currently working on her certificate in medical education at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Taylor has a passion for pulmonary management in children with neuromuscular disorders. Her research interests include extreme prematurity/chronic lung disease of infancy, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary manifestations in neuromuscular conditions/airway clearance impairment.
