Sverchkov and Pfeffermann (JRSS A 2018) suggest an approach for small area estimation (SAE) under not missing at random (NMAR) nonresponse within the areas and illustrate its performance on simulated and real discrete data. This paper suggests a simple algorithm for SAE under NMAR for the case of general continuous data. A simple SAS program is used for illustration.
