Bees are hyperdiverse, globally distributed, and vitally important as pollinators of flowering plants. Understanding their systematics and evolution is thus critical. This symposium brings together systematists and evolutionary biologists from around the world to present new research on the systematics, evolution, and biogeography of bees.
