Mentoring programs are important retention mechanism for promoting diversity with the Entomological Sciences. Here I take you to my own experience with Mentoring to show the importance of providing diversity as a mentee and as a mentor. I discuss important attributes to foster a better mentor-mentee relationship and provide a sneak peak of how EntoPOC foster diversity within the Entomology.
