This symposium is organized by the Acarological Society of America (ASA) and houses the graduate student competition. Additionally, speakers from different career stages will present research on interactions of acari at multiple levels, ecological, organismal and suborganismal, covering parasites of vertebrates and insects, plant and predatory mites, and soil-dwelling mites.
