The IPM4Bees Midwest Working Group, funded by the North Central IPM Center, brings together honey bee and native bee researchers and extension professionals to discuss current research and outreach efforts related to integrated pest management and bee health. An important starting point for promoting best practices for pollinator health is understanding what practices are currently being implemented. We present results of surveys administered to Iowan beekeepers, farmers, and landowners on best management practices for sustaining honey bees and other pollinators. Results show farmers and landowners believe implementing pollinator-friendly practices is important. However, knowledge of tools to implement these practices was very low.
