Invasive species of both vectors and pathogens create new disease outbreaks. Climate-driven expansion of existing vector ranges bring diseases to new regions. The goal of this symposium is to present current research on factors contributing to recent changes in vector-borne diseases, with special focus on mosquito and tick vectors.
