Ectoparasitic arthropods live closely associated with their host, animal or plant, while also interacting with host-associated microorganisms. This symposium will provide a holistic view, integrating genetics, ecology, and physiology to depict the most current observations in the field of the molecular mechanism underlying microbial-arthropod-host interactions.
