This presentation will discuss the benefits, challenges, and solutions of doing research at teaching-focused institutions. It will discuss ways in which faculty at these insitutions can have productive research programs while providing high quality undergraduate research experiences for their students. We will discuss how "high impact" research should be defined in the undergraduate context.
