Nurse Practitioner
Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center
Dr. Diana McDonnell is a board-certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, currently practicing in oncology at Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (HICCC) at Columbia Doctors in New York City. Dr. McDonnell first earned a bachelor of arts in Religious Studies from Scripps College in 2014, then pursued health care by training at Columbia University School of Nursing (BSN 2016, MSN 2018, DNP 2020). Over the past four years at HICCC, she has primarily worked with patients with solid tumors such as melanomas, sarcomas, and gastrointestinal malignancies. Dr. McDonnell also precepts for nurse practitioner students and has an active interest in rare cancers, such as uveal melanoma.
