Donna Catamero, ANP-BC, received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Simmons College in 2002 and her Master of Science in nursing from NYU in 2010. For 20 years, Ms. Catamero has been involved in clinical research. She worked as a nurse practitioner in the multiple myeloma program at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York City and later at Mount Sinai, also in New York City, until 2018. Then Ms. Catamero spent two years in the industry working for Celgene Corporation as Scientific Director of Medical Affairs in multiple myeloma where she supported the launch of ide-cel and developed a CAR-T educational program for health-care providers. She is now back at Mount Sinai where she serves as Associate Director of Myeloma Research. In this position, she oversees clinical research projects and develops standards of care for professional practice.
