Keri Halsema, NP, works in the Blood Disorders and Cellular Therapeutics outpatient clinic for the University of Colorado in Aurora. She attended nursing school and completed her MSN at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Ms. Halsema started her NP career in 1998 in the BMT program at the original University of Colorado campus located in the heart of Denver, and then 6 years at City of Hope in Southern California in heme-malignancies before returning to the University of Colorado in 2013. Because she found blood cancers so interesting, Ms. Halsema has stayed in the field of heme-malignancies for her entire career. As a result, she's had a front-row seat to the incredible benefits new therapies continue to bring to patients.
