Patrick Stoy joined Janssen Oncology Medical Affairs in 2020 as a Senior Medical Science Liaison in the Myeloma/CAR-T team and supports the Colorado and New Mexico territory, while also co-leading the national daratumumab MSL compound team. Patrick has 15 years of experience in drug discovery at GlaxoSmithKline and Bristol-Myers Squibb, with expertise in medicinal chemistry, program leadership and integrated drug discovery. He has discovered and advanced several investigational medicines into the clinic as a scientist and leader, including for oncology, cardiovascular and respiratory indications. Most recently, Patrick led a team of 17 scientists at GSK in cross-therapeutic drug discovery. Patrick was born in the Czech Republic, raised in New Jersey, received his BS in Chemistry from the University of Chicago, his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Michigan, and completed post-doctoral studies in the synthesis of anti-cancer marine natural products at the University of California, Irvine. Patrick resides in the Denver, Colorado area and enjoys hiking, board games and martial arts with his family.
