Colorectal Cancer Alliance
Kendra was diagnosed in 2014 with stage 1 colorectal cancer! She feels lucky to have had a primary care doc that knew to send her for a colonoscopy and was able to catch it early at stage 1! After a resection and recovery she was able to get back to life and started volunteering as a way to share her story with other primary care providers and give back.
Kendra says:
I really love advocating with the Colorectal Cancer Alliance! Not only has it given me a community of friends and support that I never could have imagined, but in helping others I've experienced a level of healing personally that I never knew I needed! Every time someone says "I got screened because of you" I heal a little more! The Alliance is on a mission to end CRC and I'm proud to be doing my part to help them get there!!
