Adelina Leong, MPAS, PA-C is a surgical oncology physician assistant at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center who specializes in hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) cancers with unique dual role in outpatient and operating room settings. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas in 2020 and Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Studies at the University of Texas at Austin in 2017. Her interest in gastrointestinal cancers developed during her graduate studies, and she rapidly developed a passion for the operating room in HPB surgery. She serves as a first and second assist, and her wide skillset allows her to provide close patient rapport and continuity of care for her patients. She is passionate about delivering the highest level of care and contributing to the advancements in HPB research. During her free time, she enjoys baking, traveling, cycling, tennis and spending time with her family and friends.
